IT's Favorite - Backhoe Day? Now we have potential tractor trailer days.

Several days ago on 5/24/06 our friendly delivery truck accidentally snagged the power lines and data lines running through the middle of our campus.

Fortunately, no one was hurt and the spring semester had ended, so we are in an overall lull in our business cycle. Although, some offices are busy, and no one wanted to see the network go down.

I was impressed with the strength of those lines. Notice the lean on the telephone pole. That was fairly vertical before the accident.

By the next day the NH Coop crews had the poll vertial once again.

  1. Update: Apparently, the pole will have to be replaced on June 1st. Look fine to me, but appears that our power company is being cautious. Thanks NHCOOP.
