Google Trends - Veeerrrryyy Interesting.

Nothing like a quite house and a rainy Saturday morning to do some surfing and blogging. Here’s something I came across this morning:
This is Google Trends. My colleagues and I had been using Google Alerts to calculate our poisiton in the Google economy. I won’t bore you with the very unsophisticated methods we were using to do this, but suffice it to say that this is going to save a lot of time. It has some shortcomings, in that it is an aggregated sample of searchs on the terms, but all things being equal, this is as good a baromoter as any other.
